Psychological Assessments
By collaborating within the assessment discovery process, we can identify the source of your struggles and concerns. Learning and understanding a diagnosis is a part of the healing process. At EQ Psychological Services, evaluations consider the whole person and recommendations target the ways in which an individual’s cognitive and mental health functioning impact their day-to-day performance.
General Adult and Youth Assessments consider intellectual, adaptive, and emotional functioning.
Differential Diagnosis Assessments provide a thorough investigation to determine the specific reason and diagnosis for the symptoms since many psychological diagnoses results in similar symptoms.
Targeted Developmental Assessments focus on identification of the following neurodevelopmental disorders: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Learning Disabilities.
Twice Exceptional Assessments focus on identifying if an individual is intellectually gifted while also having unique emotional/behavioral needs.
Independent Educational Evaluations IEEs are conducted at public expense as a 3rd party perspective when agreed upon by parents and the school district. Assessments explore the impact on the child’s academic, social, and functional success at school.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for non-emergency medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
